I love the Anchor Inn in Barcombe. In the summer, this place is idyllic. Enjoy a beer in the beautiful garden in the middle of nowhere, or even a glass of Pimms...then hire a boat and row up and down the river that runs adjacent...

There is a good garden which makes this a nice pub for the summer. There is also a garden in the back too. The food is OK but the pub sometimes lacks a bit of atmosphere.

People rave about the Sunday Lunches but they seemed over boiled and reheated. Still, if you are hungry they are good value.
