Reading that the Lansdown is to re-open I wonder if anyone thinks like I do that there are too many pubs in Lewes?

Really?...i dont think theres enough haha...

Perhaps cos they are on the other side of town....where I live, the closest pub is at least 20 mins walk...down to either the dorset or snowdrop.

I think we need a rock/alternative pub!

yes, there is not so many in that area - it is a tough time to try and open a pub though, unless you have very deep pockets....

I would like to see a pub do some thai/oriental food....as the competing pubs in Lewes that do food, all seem to have similar menus.
