Neighbourhood 10:10
I'm keen to find out how others in my area (Southover) are coordinating in carbon cutting activities - car-shares, swap shops etc.

Julia from RedPriest is a member of Swapshop but she is in Cliffe. I am working on a piece about allotments, know anyone who has one?

My neighbours at St Pancras Gardens have recently been issued an allotment. They've had to wait a long time and are very happy.
Coincidentally I have put my name down for an allotment yesterday - waiting list 2 years! gives me plenty of time to browse through Grow-your-Own literature!

Thanks Sophiatozzi. My friend said that Chas from the old pop duo Chas & Dave - remember ‘Rabbit’? has written a book on allotments. And it’s true! Check it out:

"Chas and His Rock n Roll Allotment is a gardening book like no other. Written by Chas Hodges, better known as half of musical duo Chas and Dave, the book is full of funny stories and anecdotes interspersed with the author s tips for growing your own."

If you ever bump into Keith the builder in the Gardeners Arms ask him for a few allotment tips...
