Given today's grim weather should we be worried about flooding in Lewes?

Didnt we have some flooding defence barriers built? I recall one huge concrete thing near riverlodge surgery, back of harveys?....

Im lucky enough to be on high ground, up near the back of malling hill, but the fields get waterlocked as the streams from the river always burst and flood them!.....

I suppose only cliffe area is prone to bad flooding? or is there other parts?

It looked really high on Monday, I guess the level has fallen but the forecast looks like more rain in next few days.
