A woman has admitted stabbing an elderly couple on the doorstep of their Lewes home.
Rose Spanswick, 59, of Hawkenbury Way, Lewes, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault with intent to commit robbery and one count of aggravated burglary.
The attack took place in November on Hawkenbury Way - the two pensioners (both in their 70s, named as Jim and Sheila Patmore) were stabbed on their doorstep, both have since recovered.
Spanswick was treasurer of Lewes Castle Rotary Club, which Patmore, a Neighbourhood Watch organiser, had also joined, where he printed leaflets for the group.
