    A boy from Lewes has been charged with a knifepoint robbery which took place on 1 December on Bell Lane, Lewes. A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of the robbery in Lewes town centre. He was remanded in custody. He was due to appear before Eastbourne Youth Court.. A 15-year-old boy, was walking down Bell Lane, Lewes, at the beginning of the month when he was threatened with a knife, his iPod was stolen from him.

    Four teenagers were arrested over the weekend after a break-in at a pub in Barcombe, Lewes, in which £2,000 in cash and a quantity of alcohol was stolen.     A woman has admitted stabbing an elderly couple on the doorstep of their Lewes home. Rose Spanswick, 59, of Hawkenbury Way, Lewes, pleaded guilty to two counts of  assault with intent to commit robbery and one count of aggravated burglary.
